Bringing young Salvation Army musicians together to grow in music, faith and community.

Impact Plus is the Melbourne Staff Band’s annual development weekend for young Salvation Army brass musicians from across Australia. Through rehearsals, workshops, worship, performances and time spent together, delegates are encouraged to grow both musically and spiritually.
More than simply a music camp, Impact Plus is about investing in the next generation — creating opportunities to learn from experienced musicians, build friendships with others who share their faith and discover how their musical gifts can be used in ministry.

Develop your skills and experience the joy of making music together.

Grow in faith through worship, teaching and ministry.

Build friendships and connections that extend beyond the weekend.

Learn from experienced musicians and be challenged to grow.

28–30 August 2026 | Melbourne, Victoria
Join the Melbourne Staff Band and the delegates of Impact Plus 2026 for our Finale Concert as we bring an incredible weekend of music, fellowship and worship to a close.
The theme for Impact Plus 2026 is Fan the Flame — a challenge to nurture the gifts God has given us and use them boldly in His service.
Throughout the weekend, young musicians will rehearse, learn and grow together, exploring what it means not simply to develop as musicians, but to use their music as an expression of faith and ministry.

Come and support the next generation of musicians as we celebrate what God is doing in and through them — and encourage one another to Fan the Flame.
The theme of Impact Plus 2026 is Fan the Flame — encouraging young musicians to grow the gifts God has given them and use those gifts for His glory.
Our theme song, “Fan the Flame,” reminds us to keep the fire of faith alive, allowing God to work in us and through us as we serve Him.
