What is Impact Plus?
Bringing young Salvation Army musicians together to grow in music, faith and community.
Impact Plus is the Melbourne Staff Band’s annual development weekend for young Salvation Army brass musicians from across Australia. Through rehearsals, workshops, worship, performances and time spent together, delegates are encouraged to grow both musically and spiritually.
More than simply a music camp, Impact Plus is about investing in the next generation — creating opportunities to learn from experienced musicians, build friendships with others who share their faith and discover how their musical gifts can be used in ministry.

Impact Plus returns in 2026 for another weekend of music, worship, fellowship and growth. Young musicians from across Australia will come together with the Melbourne Staff Band for rehearsals, workshops, worship and opportunities to make music together.

Inspired by Psalm 150:6, this year's theme reminds us that praise isn't limited to a particular song, style or setting — everything we have, including our musical gifts, can be offered in praise to God.
