The Salvation Army
The Salvation Army Australia Music

Music has been a part of our movement since our early days.

It still carries importance and renown today.

Be inspired wherever our music is

Dynamic brass bands, choirs (otherwise known as ‘songsters’) and contemporary music fill Salvation Army corps (churches) across Australia each week.

But whether it be in church, on street corners, in concert halls or on recordings, the music of the Salvos is a sound that inspires worshippers and listeners everywhere.

Staff Songster Leader: Ash Sellers

We are made up of Salvationists from all over the wider Sydney area, including the Central Coast and Wollongong.

It's our privilege to travel throughout Australia each year, bringing the great news of the freedom that is found in knowing Jesus, through music, song and spoken word.

These choirs are made up of men and women of all ages who are part of a Salvation Army church and sing to God (worship) and encourage others to do the same.
