Launceston Salvos is a community of people passionate about sharing the love of Jesus with others to see hope revealed in their lives.
Along with our Sunday worship service, we offer a range of mid-week activities for people to develop friendships, journey through life with others, and find support for tough times.

We have limited on-site parking but there is plenty of free (timed) street parking. Our building is wheelchair accessible.
Worship, fellowship and friendship
Sunday worship
10am, followed by morning tea
Join us for worship and teaching. Our music style includes both choir (Songsters) and contemporary worship, featuring guitars, keyboard and drums.

Kids' Church and crèche
Sunday, 10.30am
During our Sunday worship service, we have a dedicated crèche room for babies.
Kids’ Church is for ages 4–12. Kids enjoy games, singing and Bible teaching while high schoolers and adults engage in the worship service.
Mainly Music
Monday, 10am
Parents, grandparents and carers are invited to a morning of music and play with their babies, toddlers and preschoolers (ages 0–5).
Healing and prayer group
Tuesday, 7.30pm
Healing Rooms is a community group that meets at The Salvation Army Launceston and is open to all community members to connect with others for prayer.
Prayers for healing and other expressed needs can take place in a confidential setting.
Wednesday fellowship
Every second Wednesday, 1.30pm
This group meets for fellowship and afternoon tea. We regularly have guest speakers of interest from other churches and community groups.
One goal of the group is to support The Salvation Army's overseas work, and we also contribute to other groups with similar goals.
Men and women of all ages are welcome.
Songster practice
Wednesday, 7.15pm
Do you love to sing? If you would like to be a part of our songster brigade, we’d love to invite you to join our choir practices.
We meet each week to rehearse and sing on Sundays during our worship service.
Life groups and community tables
Groups meet at varying times in various locations
We believe in the importance of doing life with others and studying the Bible in small groups.
We encourage you to be a part of a life group or a community table — which often also meets around a meal.
