Emergency Assistance

If you have urgent needs and are wondering where to go, please call the NSW Assessment Line 02 8775 7988. The assessment line is open Monday - Friday from 9am - 5pm.

For all other enquiries, please call 02 9477 1133 (Option 2) or email hornsbycommunity@salvationarmy.org.au and one of our team will be in contact with you Tuesday - Thursday between 10:00am & 1:00pm to see how we can assist.

EAPA

EAPA Assessments are avaialabe by appointment only. 

The EAPA Scheme is a NSW Government Scheme to help people who are experiencing financial hardship preventing them from being able to pay in full their electricity and/or gas bill.

If you are unable to arrange a payment plan with your supplier you may contact the Community Welfare Co-Ordinator on 0483 850 444 and leave a message. The Community Welfare Co-Ordinator is available Tuesday - Thursday from 10:00am - 1:00pm and will return calls / messages within these hours.

For EAPA Assessments to take place the following documents are required

1. A copy of your current bill in full (cannot be an overdue or disconnection notice)

2. A copy of your current Centrelink Statement or Payslip in full

3. A copy of your current Identification. This must match the address on your bill

While you are waiting to undergo assessment please contact your provider an let them know that you will be having an EAPA Assessment and ask for an extension on the bill, this will prevent any disconnections from taking place.
