Loving God and others

Sharing the love of Jesus in the Western Suburbs of Sydney for over 140 years.

A place for everyone

Welcome to The Salvation Army Greater West (GWS) — we want to connect with you and support you in your next steps. We share the love of Jesus by caring for people, creating faith pathways, building healthy communities and working for justice.

We meet each Sunday morning at our St Marys site to worship God together in community. We also have a range of activities to encourage connection and friendship across Greater West Sydney.

Whether you’re looking for someone to do life with, or someone to believe in good for you during a tough time, The Salvation Army GWS is here for you.

We come together to share stories, engage in uplifting discussions and reflect on our spiritual journeys. Whether you’re new to faith or looking to deepen your understanding, come as you are and be part of our supportive community.

This welcoming space is perfect for anyone seeking to connect with others and explore faith in a relaxed atmosphere.

There are plenty of nearby Council carparks and street parking that is untimed on Sundays.
