Welcome to The Salvation Army Greater West (GWS) — we want to connect with you and support you in your next steps. We share the love of Jesus by caring for people, creating faith pathways, building healthy communities and working for justice.
We meet each Sunday morning at our St Marys site to worship God together in community. We also have a range of activities to encourage connection and friendship across Greater West Sydney.

A wide range of activities operate from this Centre that support the local community. A focus is on building individual and community capacity and supporting people to access the support they need to thrive.

From this Centre, a wide range of assistance and support is available to support you through a difficult time or achieve your goals. Many of Greater West Salvos Services are based there or can meet you there through prior arrangements.
Freedom Chapel at St. Marys

We come together to share stories, engage in uplifting discussions and reflect on our spiritual journeys. Whether you’re new to faith or looking to deepen your understanding, come as you are and be part of our supportive community.
This welcoming space is perfect for anyone seeking to connect with others and explore faith in a relaxed atmosphere.
There are plenty of nearby Council carparks and street parking that is untimed on Sundays.
