If you are experiencing financial hardship or are facing a crisis, contact us to find out how we can support you. 

Depending on your situation, and what we have available, we may be able to provide you with vouchers for food, fuel or electricity.

We can also help with referrals to other support services such as addiction rehabilitation centres.

Doorways Connect

If you find yourself in crisis and need food or financial assistance, call us. You’ll be connected to our Emergency Relief Assessment team. 

A team member will talk with you about your situation and explain what help is available. You may be asked to visit our Doorways Connect site to collect a voucher:

  • Church on the Hill (above Woodport Aged Care), 120 The Entrance Road, Green Point 
  • Tuesday to Thursday, 9am–12pm

Moneycare financial assistance

The Salvation Army’s free financial counselling service, Moneycare, is here to help you feel in control of your finances.  

We can work with you to manage your debt, develop new strategies or you may like to explore our free eBook. We can also point you in the right direction for a No Interest Loan.

Through programs like vocational training, driver education, and drug and alcohol support, we help them build skills for healthy, independent lives.

Emergency services

The Salvation Army Emergency Services (SAES) team responds to local emergencies and disasters. It provides providing on-scene support when the community needs it most.  

We serve food and refreshments to people affected, as well as to emergency workers such as the SES, NSW Fire and Rescue, Rural Fire Service, Police, and Paramedics.
