Meet our Team

Bernie and Terri Muendel - Corps Officers (Auxilliary Lieutenants)

Bernie and Terri are our leaders here at Eastlakes. They excitedly took on the leadership role in July 2018 but have been part of our church family since it's very beginning in the early '90s. Both have held various leadership positions in our church in the past and Bernie has spent 18 years working for The Salvation Army Bridge program which is a ministry to those recovering from addiction. They are both very passionate about living life with Jesus and seeing people walking in close relationship with Him. They love to travel and go to places they've never been before. They have 4 awesome kids who also love to serve at church.

Jill Gillespie - Property and Office Manager

Jill is our all conquering Property and Office manager. Our "Jill-of-all-trades". Our "Jillaroo". She also loves a good book & long strolls along the beach and chocolate! There's nothing she can't do!

Janet Davies - Community Support Worker

Janet is part of our leadership team she provides extra support mostly to the elderly in the local community of the Belstone Estate. She has a heart for people to know Jesus as their Saviour.

Celeste Clarke-Williams - Youth and Young Adult Coordinator

Celeste joined our team at the start of 2022. She's passionate about young people finding their identity in Jesus and is keen to reach out to people in our community. We love her!

Volunteers in Ministry

We have an amazing number of volunteers, who work regular hours in the areas of administration, reception, Café 360, cleaning, gardening who all have a heart to assist our church family fulfil its purpose. There are plenty of laughs and fun around the place. They really are an amazing bunch of people to serve with! They're family!

We also have a large percentage of our church actively involved in different areas of ministry in our church, using their God given gifts and talents. All give their time voluntarily and willingly, and are committed to our common purpose of “saving souls, growing saints, and serving suffering humanity.”
