Bernie and Terri Muendel - Corps Officers (Auxilliary Lieutenants)
Bernie and Terri are our leaders here at Eastlakes. They excitedly took on the leadership role in July 2018 but have been part of our church family since it's very beginning in the early '90s. Both have been youth leaders in the past and Bernie has spent 18 years working for The Salvation Army Bridge program which is a ministry to those recovering from addiction. They are both very passionate about living life with Jesus and seeing people walking in close relationship with Him. They love to travel and go to places they've never been before. They have 2 awesome teens who also love to serve at church.
Anthony and Kath Wennerbom – House of Hope Ministry
Kath and Anthony live at House of Hope – focussing on bringing the message of hope through Jesus Christ to the community at Belstone Avenue, and beyond. Kath and Anthony love Jesus and also have a passion for youth. They love a good camping adventure and usually have plenty of stories to tell!

Janet is part of our House of Hope team, providing extra support to the local community, and additional expertise within the team. Janet also runs our AMAZING craft mininstry where approximately 100 women come to connect with each other and do craft... well some do craft... lots just chat and have a great morning tea!
Jill Gillespie - Property and Office Manager
Jill is our all conquering Property and Office manager. Our "Jill-of-all-trades". She also loves a good book & long strolls along the beach and chocolate! There's nothing she can't do!
Volunteers in Ministry
We have an amazing number of volunteers, who work regular hours in the areas of administration, reception, café, cleaning, gardening who all have a heart to assist our church family fulfil its purpose. There are plenty of laughs and fun around the office. They really are an amazing bunch of people to work with! They're family!
We also have a large percentage of our church actively involved in different areas of ministry in our church, using their God given gifts and talents. All give their time voluntarily and willingly, and are committed to our common purpose of “saving souls, growing saints, and serving suffering humanity.”
