Without our generous teams, we wouldn't be able to do what we do. Many local organisations have been an integral part of inspiring new ways we can assist our Colac Region.
It all ads up to one-big-support for our community.
If you’re part of our community or represent an organisation and want to support the work we do in Colac, we’d love to hear from you.

Twice a week, our van is filled to the brim by Aldi Colac, who work hard to make sure good food and goods aren’t wasted but given a second life helping households across the Region.
From dozens of watermelons for a summer treat to generous supplies of meat, these donations help keep families nourished for longer.

are-able have been with Colac Salvos since the very beginning of our Community Centre. From unloading trucks at our massive Market Day to rolling up their sleeves in the Community Garden, they’re always ready to help where it’s needed most.
When they say they’re here to support the community, they truly live it out. It’s been such a blessing to have this amazing organisation walking alongside us to build stronger supports for the Colac Region.

Chooks at the Rooke have kept our BBQ sizzling with eggs every Wednesday.
Even when we have seen shortages of eggs throughout the region, they have worked hard to ensure we have eggs to feed to those doing it tough in the community.

Working to keep everyone informed, the Colac Herald has long been a mainstay of the Colac Region and has shown incredible generosity to Colac Salvos over the years.
By sharing our stories with the many people who pick up the paper each week, they help break down barriers that can sometimes make it hard to reach out for support.
Their coverage makes it easier for people to feel comfortable coming to the Salvos when life takes a tough turn, something we all face at times.

Aim. Aspire. Achieve. These are the values that Colac Secondary College puts into action beyond the classroom.
From cooking and sorting to leading initiatives like the Otway Wardrobe and The Drop-in, their teachers and students bring energy and care to our community.
Thank you, CSC, for inspiring hope and shaping a brighter tomorrow in the Colac Region.

Coles Colac has been a supporter of our work for many years.
Every week, it supplies food and other items that keep our Community Pantry full.

Foodbank needs no introduction. They’re responsible for supporting millions across Australia — and Colac is no different.
Every week, Foodbank delivers bulk supplies that help us ease the cost of living for local families.

Every Friday, one of the incredible volunteers from Geelong Foodshare parks up and helps unload a van full of generously donated goods. These donations reach people through our Market Day program.
Their consistent and generous work has provided close to 1.5 tonnes of food for the people in need our region.
It’s a huge relief knowing there’s an organisation like Geelong Foodshare standing with us.

The Genua Brothers are always looking for ways to our region.
They have consistently and generously supported our Christmas Appeals —helping us create hampers so more families could enjoy a merrier Christmas.
We’re excited to know they’ll continue to help us support the families in the Colac Region.

There isn’t a soul in the Colac Region who doesn’t know the incredible coffee and food that Jo ‘s Pantry serve.
But what truly sets them apart is the kindness and generosity shown by the whole team, led by owner Jo DeLorenzo.
Over many years, Jo has donated food, products and packaging supplies to Colac Salvos.
These contributions help us keep costs low and ensure every donation we steward goes where it’s needed most.

A unique part of the Colac Region, and it’s been a blessing to partner with them to build a brighter tomorrow.
They played a vital role in setting up the Colac Salvos Salon — funding salon chairs, trolleys and a mobile mirror system so we can offer free haircuts to anyone in the community.

The team at MIXX FM have supported, energised, and broadcast the message Colac Salvos is bringing to the Colac Region.
Without their passion and commitment, many in the Region wouldn’t hear about what we do or how they can find support through our services.

Holistically local. That’s Otway Pasta Company’s approach to business — and to giving back.
They’ve generously donated huge amounts of product to help feed people across the Colac Region.
But they don’t stop there. Every Friday, Steve and the team roll up their sleeves to cook at our Community Centre.

Everybody in Colac knows Pammy, and they’ll tell you the same thing: she’s cracked the code for making amazing pizzas at a great price, always served with a smile.
Beyond being a much-loved local business owner, Pammy is also incredibly generous. She’s always ready to step in and make sure people get a good meal when times are tough.
Through her support, Pammy has helped the Colac Salvos keep bellies full for those facing some of life’s most vulnerable moments.

Supporting families across the Colac Region to keep their pets healthy, Petstock Colac has a proud history in regional Victoria. It begins in Ballarat before spreading throughout Australia and beyond.
They’ve come on board with Colac Salvos to support animal lovers across our community, with a heartbeat to help anyone and everyone give their pets the best care.
Without their passion and generosity, we couldn’t feed the many beloved pets who are part of families doing it tough.

The Rotary Club of Colac played a big role in fitting out our Community Centre. They purchased the first washing machines and dryers for our free laundry service. These are used every day by people across the region.
These machines get a real workout, used every day by dozens of people. And every time they’re running, we’re reminded of the Rotary Club’s generosity.

Vinnies Colac and Colac Salvos share the same goal: to work together for a brighter future in our region.
So, we joined forces to better support the community. Our recent collaborations on the Otway Wardrobe and Otway TentCare initiatives have shown just how powerful that can be.
Together we’ve created more donation and distribution points, collected far more goods, and engaged even more people through the passion of those who support our organisations.
We look forward to seeing this partnership continue to grow, ensuring a stronger and brighter tomorrow for the Colac Region.

Our local Woolies has been a loyal supporter of Colac Salvos, providing bread and bakery goods every week without fail.
They’ve also gone above and beyond during the Easter season, donating hundreds of dollars’ worth of chocolate eggs so we could run Easter egg hunts for everyone in the community who wanted to join the fun.
