A team member, from Doorways, will have a compassionate conversation with you to understand your needs and let you know what help is available.

 

If a voucher is available to you — collection is on Monday, Wednesday or Friday between 9am and 2pm.

Financial counselling

Known as Moneycare, our free services is here to help you feel in control of your finances. We can work with you to manage your debt, develop new strategies.

 

We can also point you in the right direction for a No Interest Loan.

Fortnightly, Monday and Wednesday, 9am–2pm

 

You’ll find groceries and fresh food items available at a very low cost to help you stretch your budget further. You don’t need a Health Care Card to access the pantry.

 

Items can include pantry goods, frozen meals, pet food, toiletries, laundry products and more.

The Hospital Admission Risk Program team from Colac Area Health is now available at the Salvos Community Centre.  

 

You can see doctors, get general nursing care, and connect with other hospital services — all in one place.

You’re welcome to use our shower, toilet and laundry facilities (including washing powder).

It’s completely free. All we ask in return is a friendly smile.

Enjoy a free trim in a safe and friendly space. Just like any salon, it’s also a chance to chat about life’s ups and downs while you’re in the chair.

  

Come in, put a load of washing on, have a shower, grab a coffee and finish it all off with a fresh haircut.
