Engage in the Good News in 90 Seconds

God the Father created Heaven and Earth perfectly but when humanity sinned, God's perfect creation was corrupted. Sin separates us from God, who is Holy. 

But God loves us and He doesn't want anyone to perish. So He made a way for us to repent, be set free and experience eternal life. 

Because God loves us so much, He sent Jesus, His only Son, born of the Holy Spirit and of Mary a virgin. 

Jesus lived a perfect sinless life, and lovingly took the consequence of our sin. He was punished and crucified in our place so that we did not have to be. We were judged guilty, but Jesus paid the price. 

Jesus was crucified and died, but three days later, He rose from the grave! 

He ascended into Heaven, and is seated at the right hand of God the Father, where He intercedes for us. 

He is coming again to judge the living and the dead. By putting our faith alone in what Jesus did for us and repenting of our sins, we are forgiven. We call this ‘grace’ — as it is a free gift from God. 

There is a place called Heaven, and there is a place called Hell. This present life is temporary and is preparation for our eternal destiny. Where we spend eternity will be based on our relationship with Jesus (accepting His free gift of salvation) at the time of our earthly departure (or the return of Jesus). 

“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith — and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God — not by works, so that no one can boast” (Ephesians 2:8-9, NIV).
