Community activities and support

Our story starts with community, and our mission is to be a place where everyone knows they're valued, accepted, and loved. Contact us with any enquiries.

Every week, we provide over 700 free meals — and we hold gatherings for people to enjoy fun and friendship.

Our free community activities and meals 

All activities take place at Streetlevel Salvos: 97 School Street, Spring Hill.

Find a supportive community to help you overcome your substance addiction.

Community drop-in

  • Monday, 9am–1pm (breakfast at 9am and lunch at 12pm)
  • Thursday, 3–6pm (dinner at 5pm)

We invite you to drop in to learn more about our services — or to simply enjoy a free meal and connection with other people in our community.

On Monday, stay for our Faith and Discovery group at 1pm.

On Thursday, stay for our midweek Chapel service at 6pm.

Last Monday of every month, 1–2.30pm

Men in our community meet once a month for mateship and fun. Some months feature activities like an afternoon at the driving range! All are welcome to join.

Every Tuesday, we serve a range of delicious toasties and unlimited 7-Eleven coffees. This free morning tea is a great opportunity to meet new people or catch up with the latest news at Streetlevel Salvos.

Women in our community come together for support, encouragement and practical care. We share our stories, recipes and craft ideas and are there for each other in tough times. All are welcome.

Breakfast and groceries

Friday, 9.30–11.30am

Every Friday morning, we do a grocery giveaway to help people with everyday needs — and we serve a free breakfast; usually bacon and eggs! Come along for a fun morning together.

Pets in the Park

Pets in the Park

First Sunday of every month, 11am–12pm

Pets in the Park is an Australian volunteer-run not-for-profit organisation providing free monthly veterinary care to the much-loved pets of people experiencing homelessness. The organisation comes to Streetlevel Salvos on the first Sunday of every month.

Sunday roast

First Sunday of every month, 12pm

We invite you to join us for a free Sunday roast on the first Sunday of the month. We typically serve roast chicken or pork with a vegetable side — and sometimes, there is even dessert! Doors open at 11am for Pets in the Park before lunch is served at 12pm.
