Recreation therapy provides programs targeted to work with young people aged between 10-17. This blended program aims to educate participants in social-skills and mental health wellness. Through evidence-based research and a therapeutic understanding of skill development in young people, our specialised team have designed a number of programs for young people who are struggling with social issues such as self-doubt, low-confidence, and anxiety, while building camaraderie, encouraging empathy and communication skills. The recreation activities are specifically chosen to compliment the learning outcomes in the therapeutic learning modules.

The intent of the program is to support participants to reach their potential in a fun and creative way. In addition to this, we include activities with specific goals to encourage safe and informed choices around AOD misuse, especially as this becomes a prevalent and emerging issue for young people in school.
