Overview
MORE Conference is an annual professional development conference for Salvation Army employees, volunteers and officers working in youth ministry.
This event aims to develop attendee’s knowledge and skill base to equip them to better minister to young people. They are exposed to leading practitioners and thinkers, presenting on relevant issues facing youth and those working in the youth space, providing information and practical tools to approach ministry. It is a networking opportunity for youth ministry workers to connect with other employees and volunteers around Australia, share stories and provide encouragement.

Beck Wilesmith
Beck Wilesmith is a passionate leader and communicator with a heart to see people come alive in their faith and purpose. Beck and her husband Matt are the State Directors of Youth Alive NSW and, between them, have over 20 years of experience in youth ministry. She currently works for Micah Australia, leading the nationwide Micah Women’s Network and helping deliver national campaigns and events that mobilise Christians towards global justice.
Beck holds a Bachelor of Communications and has extensive experience across the corporate, government, and not-for-profit sectors. She is a credentialed pastor with Australian Christian Churches (ACC), a key member of the leadership team at Hope Unlimited Church, and a devoted mum to three boys.
Dave Adamson
Dave Adamson is a speaker, author, and digital ministry leader who has spent more than two decades helping churches communicate clearly, disciple people effectively, and reach beyond their walls through digital platforms. After nearly a decade as a TV reporter with Channel TEN in Melbourne, Australia, Dave moved to the US in 2008 to work at the intersection of church, media, and digital culture. He led online communities at two of Outreach Magazine’s largest churches before becoming the social media and online pastor at North Point Ministries in Atlanta, Georgia, founded by Andy Stanley. There, he helped shape digital strategies reaching more than a million people each month.
Dave returned to Australia in 2020 and now leads the Australian team for the YouVersion Bible App, partnering with churches to help more Australians engage with Scripture every day.
Dave is the best-selling author of 52 Hebrew Words Every Christian Should Know, 52 Names of God in Hebrew, and MetaChurch. He speaks regularly at churches and conferences around the world and teaches weekly to an online audience of over a million people. He’s still slightly surprised by that last part.
