The Red Shield Appeal comes at a time when more and more people are in urgent need of Salvos’ financial and homelessness support services, as the cost-of-living crisis continues to tighten its grip on household budgets.

Right now, many families are struggling week to week to keep a roof over their heads and food on the table. To make ends meet people are sacrificing things like meals and health care – things that they shouldn’t have to go without.

Every day, The Salvation Army is providing people who are struggling to get by with the support they desperately need.
