Hope Garden

Hope Garden

Monday, 10.30am

 

Hope Garden grows fruit and vegetables to support those in the community in need. The produce that is grown and harvested is given out through our Fresh Food Friday.

 

Every Monday, the Hope Garden team meets for morning tea and to discuss the gardening jobs required for the week. Team members volunteer for the jobs that can be completed at various times throughout the week.

The Bible is the Word of God and helps us learn more about God, his love for us and his plans for us.

 

Explore the Bible and discuss it with others.

Kids playgroup — Chirpy Chickens

Monday, 9.30–11.30am, school term only

 

Cost: $3 for one child, $5 for two or more children

 

This is a morning full of fun for young children and their parents or caregivers. Enjoy music with actions while children build their coordination, social skills and confidence.

 

We use preschool instruments like bells, drums and shakers, along with dancing and action props like pompoms, ribbons, balls and beanbags so the kids are engaged and are using their whole bodies.

 

Morning tea is provided for the parents and caregivers, and a healthy snack for the little ones.

We believe in the importance of teaching children about Jesus and equipping young people for living out their faith.

 

Kids in primary school are invited for an afternoon of fun and games while learning about the Bible and Jesus.
