Family Violence Refuge services
This family violence refuge service operates in the South of Tasmania and is funded by Homes TAS.
The refuge consists of 14 self-contained units for women and women with children who are fleeing family violence. Additionally, there are 4 units to accommodate women and women with children who are experiencing homelessness.
Our refuge services focus on increasing safety, reducing the impacts of trauma and recovery and healing. Available supports can include assessments of risk, safety planning, advocacy, support accessing grants and payments and referrals to other services such as legal, wellbeing, mental health, housing and health services.

Family Violence Outreach Services
Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm
This outreach service supports victim-survivors for up to 12 months post their stay in refuge.
This service supports people with the next steps of their journey and provides on-going assessments of risk, safety planning supports, advocacy, case management, emotional supports and referrals to other services such as legal, wellbeing, mental health, housing and health services.
