Orange Sunday 20 July - Say YES to the next generation
2 weeks to go!
* Our theme this year is YES. We want to hear your thoughts to complete the sentence: When you say yes to the next generation, you say yes to [INSERT YOUR ANSWER HERE]
Short, funny, punchy, serious, enigmatic, challenging...we want to hear them all! Text, email, facebook, skywrite etc your responses to Sandy so that we can start getting things prepared for this special day.
* As announced on Sunday, we will be having a potluck fellowship lunch. Please bring a plate of food (savoury or sweet) to share. (No, the food doesn't have to be orange but bonus points if it is!)
* We will also be holding an Orange Auction during lunch for a bit of fun and to raise money for our kids ministries. We would love to accept your donations of orange items - think cheap & not-so-cheap, kid-focused & adult-focused, practical & fun etc. All the better if we have these BEFORE the day so that we can prepare. Some items will be revealed and others will be concealed to add to the suspense and fun!
* Don't forget to check your wardrobe for something orange to wear!
