If you are experiencing financial hardship or are facing a crisis, contact us to find out how we can support you. We believe in good for you and want to see you get back on your feet.
Depending on your situation, and what we have available, we may be able to provide you with vouchers for food, fuel or electricity. We can also help with referrals to other support services such as addiction rehabilitation centres.
Emergency relief
For all-year financial support, call us and a team member will have a compassionate conversation with you to understand your needs and let you know what help is available.
When you phone us, you may be told you're eligible for a voucher and directed to visit us for collection on a Thursday between 9am and 1pm.
Financial counselling
The Salvation Army’s free financial counselling service, Moneycare, is here to help you feel in control of your finances. We can work with you to manage your debt, develop new strategies or you may like to explore our free eBook. We can also point you in the right direction for a No Interest Loan.

We know the Christmas season can be challenging and want to support you. Please come to Swan View Salvos and register your request with reception.

We have free fruit, vegetables, bread, meat and pantry staples available to help you have access to nourishing food and stretch your budget further.
It’s also a great way to connect with locals while enjoying tea, coffee, and a tasty munchie.
Registration at reception is required on your first visit.
Friends Cafe
Thursday, 9am–12pm
The cafe where everything is free.
We believe in “doing life together” and our cafe is a great place to meet with people. We have people with compassionate hearts and listening ears ready to chat with you.
Come and have a coffee or tea, plus something to eat. Our menu varies but can include delicious jam and cream scones, sandwiches, pies and soups, depending on availability.
We look forward to meeting you and sharing a meal together.
