Prison chaplaincy

Prison chaplaincy

The primary role of chaplains is to be a listening ear, providing emotional and spiritual support to prisoners. Chaplains can provide chapel services, the Positive Lifestyle Program to individuals and groups, and facilitate multi-faith engagement. When the opportunity arises, chaplains can also refer prisoners to broader programs and services.

Resolve provides Assertive Outreach to the Adelaide inner city twice a day, 7 days a week.

The outreach teams tour the streets to meet with individuals who are street sleeping and connect with them to assess their needs for housing or other specialist supports. We work closely with all councils in the Toward Home Alliance area.

Referrals for homelessness case management or other support are made as appropriate.
