Some of our workshops are free while others have an associated cost. The workshop fee supports the delivery of the workshop and broader work of The Salvation Army. However, cost should not be a barrier to accessing the education within our workshops. If your school is unable to pay a workshop fee, please discuss an alternative arrangement with our team when making a booking.

Our programs involve sensitive discussions on issues such as inequality, homelessness, financial hardship and other forms of social injustice. Content has been developed with care to ensure emotional safety and respectful learning. We recognise that conversations about lived experiences of hardship are important for understanding, growth and social change, but they may also be challenging for some participants.

Each workshop begins with a reminder that participation is voluntary. Throughout the session, we foster a respectful, inclusive and safe environment for social justice conversations, and always provide guidance on where and how to access support. If you have any concerns or would like further information, please reach out to our team.
