Darren and his wife Katie moved to Gawler with their two children Jessie and Joseph in 2012. They moved from the town of Bolton in Northwest England where Darren was the leader of a Church he had planted in 2000. The experience of planting and growing a Church has given Darren a wealth of experience that he is hoping to use as he establishes a new Church alongside the River on Edith Street.

Joy is one of the long term members of our Church having been here from the very start in 2000. She has been through thick and thin with the Church and it is down to her devotion and determination, along with three others, that the Church even exists today. Joy has a great love of Gawler and longs to see Jesus glorified in this town. She is a lady of prayer and incredible organisational skills. On top of that she is one of the most humble and delightful people you could ever wish to meet.
