The Salvation Army Perth Chinese Corps is a warm and vibrant community where friendships flourish and faith is explored together. We meet every Sunday at 10.00am for a bilingual worship service filled with celebration, music, prayer, and a message from the Bible. It's a time to connect deeply with God and with one another in a welcoming and inclusive environment. Contact us to enquire about any of our activities.

From darkness to light
They helped me out of this darkness by leading me to the light and hope of Christ. With the help of the church, I returned home to the city of Nanning, in China, with Christ as my personal Saviour, and with a Bible and some money for my journey.
I'm forever grateful.

Worship service
Sunday, 10am bilingual service in Chinese and English
Our Sunday service is a joyful time of worship, Bible teaching, and community.

Small group fellowship
After Sunday service, 11.15am–12pm
Enjoy talking about faith, sharing in care for others and praying for each other over refreshments and lunch.
Prayer meeting
Second Sunday of the month, 12.15–12.45pm
Share in prayer with others after our Sunday morning worship service and small group fellowship time.
COACH Community Mentoring
COACH Community Mentoring offers sustained, tailored support through one-to-one mentoring to individuals and families within the community who require assistance. It helps them redefine their direction across various life domains, establish personal goals, unlock their potential, and progress towards a more positive and compassionate existence.

My family settled
Straight away, we connected with the church services, and attended every Sunday worship meetings.
After two years of appealing to the immigration minister, we received refugee status and returned to Melbourne. Here, we continue to attend a Salvation Army church and are so grateful for the assistance we received.

Table tennis club
Wednesday and Friday, 10am–3pm

A place to enjoy playing table tennis and upskill with an experienced coach.
Discipleship groups (Bible study)

Gather with other people to explore the Bible, grow in faith, pray for each other and journey through life together.
Fitness praise dance
Monday, 10.30am–12pm
Exercise together to relax your body and mind, then stay for a shared lunch to socialise with others.
English class helped me
And they did! The class supported me with both practical and conversational English, as well as intercultural communication and understanding.
I appreciated this time to learn and practice with others.
