The dream of a first-rate video production telling the story of William and Catherine Booth and the early Salvation Army had rattled around in Major Peter Farthing's head for several years. One day he sat entranced in the Army's National Archives in Alexandria, Va., peering at pages of The War Cry from the 1890s, and as he did his dream began to take shape and become a vision that was within reach.
