Easter with the Salvos

Whether Easter is a season of faith and adoration for you, or a time to relax and connect with others (and maybe eat some chocolate) Easter is a special time for many. For a great number of Christians around the globe – well over two billion in total – the days leading up to Easter Sunday are sometimes known as Holy Week.

At Orana Salvos we meet on Good Friday (3/4) at 9:30am for a reflective service. It is a service designed to help you understand the significance of the cross at Easter. We then meet on Sunday (5/4) at 10:30am for a Celebration Service. 

Everyone is invited to join with us as we explore the unshakable love of God.

Orana Salvos is the combination of Dubbo and Wellington Corps. We operate out of the Orana Salvos site at 110-112 Gipps Street, Dubbo. Its a place where we meet with people and we help meet peoples needs, in practical and spiritual ways.

On a local level we strive to make relationship building our priority. We do this because we believe that people, no matter where they are on their journey, deserve to be loved and known as God loves and knows us.

Financial Counselling

If you would like to make an appointment with one of our Financial Counselling Team, please call 1800 722 363 .

When you talk through your situation with our caring, professional counsellors, you’ll receive personalised advice on how to get through your money problems and avoid trouble in the future. Importantly, our service is free and confidential.

Doorways Caseworkers can provide wrap-around support, including: • Advocacy and support
• Information and Advice
• Case management
• Goal setting
• Positive Lifestyle Program
• Community connection opportunities Referrals to specialist service, for example:
• Financial counselling
• Family and Domestic Violence support
• Homelessness
• Mental health support
• Employment support
