The Way

The Way | Jesus-centred, Spirit-led, hope-revealed is The Salvation Army’s national spiritual focus for 2026 and beyond — a call to be a movement that walks closely with Jesus, joining God in what he is already doing in the world.

It invites Salvos who follow Jesus to devote their lives evermore to Jesus, maturing spiritually, so that the transforming knowledge and love of Jesus overflows from our lives into our families, communities and mission.

Through The Way | Jesus-centred, Spirit-led, hope-revealed national spiritual focus, we are invited to be inspired, challenged and equipped in five aspects of following Jesus: discipleship, evangelism, prayer, spiritual warfare and mission.

The Way | Jesus-centred, Spirit-led, hope revealed also invites Salvos of other faiths, no religious faith, or Christian enquirers into a deeper understanding of the motivation behind the mission of The Salvation Army, with opportunities to explore The Way of Jesus for themselves.
