There are many things that make me uniquely me! Being married to Sharon, we have two adult daughters — who are both married — and we are now blessed with two beautiful grandsons. I love getting out with my camera enjoying God's creation and capturing what I see for others to enjoy.

I also love coffee — especially sharing it over a conversation. I'm passionate about sharing with people the Word of God and His amazing love for each person. Mix in my love of NRL, AFL, NFL and getting out for a bike ride or a run — all of those things make me uniquely me!

I love to spend time and have fun with family and friends. I have two adult daughters who have both recently had their first babies so I am now a Mimi to two gorgeous grandsons.

My background is in primary school teaching before stepping in to fulltime ministry. I love the spontaneity and honesty of little children and I find them energising (most of the time ).

I love to build relationships with people and to share the journey of life. My favourite question is "where have you seen God at work?"

When I'm not doing things at church, you will find me drinking coffee with friends or doing trivia quizzes, sudokus or crosswords, or reading sci-fi and fantasy novels.

I am passionate about helping people understand God's word and my dream is to see NBC as a church full of disciples making disciples, impacting the world for God.

I have a Master of Divinity and have said that's enough study for me. Or is it? Watch this space.

I am a major fan of musicals, movies and books (with a hint of coffee). It will be rare to see me without a good book. I adore my family (both relative family and church family) and am always up for a chat with anyone and everyone.

I have a passion for bringing the younger generations to Christ in a fun and inclusive environment. If you have any good book recommendations let me know!

Together with my incredible husband I have four of the most amazing kids in the world.

I am incredibly passionate about faith and truth, and I love how perfectly Jesus encompasses these aspects of life, helping me answer life’s toughest questions.

I love to create so if you don’t find me trying to make it through unrealistic reading lists, I am usually painting or drawing or making things.

My greatest desire is to think about and work through life’s hardest questions with the people around me and with God by my side!

I love spending time with my family and friends.

I have a passion for helping people and making a difference and I love to see people smile.

I love watching athletics and netball and can often be heard around the office asking if it is "Thai Friday" yet!! (I love Thai food.)

I have been attending NBC for over 30 years and am very passionate about serving God in this church.

I have been involved in leadership in several ministries over the years. My spiritual gifts are teaching and serving.

I also enjoy spending time with family, am a keen gardener, and in retirement love to get away on holidays, especially in our caravan. 

I am passionate about getting to know new people to our church and helping them to integrate into our church family.

I am a wife to David and mother of two awesome adult men and grandmother to three beautiful granddaughters.

Now in my retirement years — I love to holiday in our caravan.

I attend NBC with my family.

I love the opportunities to get involved and that it is a local church in my community. I have decided to follow Jesus and there is no turning back. I can trust Him to work out all things for my best and for His glory.

I have been coming to NBC since 2015 and have a passion for ‘tech’.

I am also a youth leader and love seeing young people connecting with Jesus.

I love my wife Lis, Star Wars and Nike sneakers.

I am so honoured to be serving on the NBC Mission Team.

I hold a Bachelor of Business Studies (Accounting), Diploma of Loss Adjusting and certificates in Logistics, and Project Management. I believe my skills can be used to contribute to the direction and growth of NBC.

I have been attending NBC since 2006 — and it was here that I gave my life to Jesus. This is my home and I am passionate about seeing NBC succeed in doing Kingdom work.

My husband, Jeff Luhrs, and I have two girls.

I love Christmas. Every year we do Christmas lights and I love seeing the joy it brings.

I am a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) engaged as Principal in my own public practice established in 1996.

My experience covers compliance and taxation services for small to medium business.

 I am a Partner in the Mills Oakley NFPs, Human Rights & Social Impact team in Brisbane and have extensive experience in the Not-For-Profit sector. I was a Partner at Mills Oakley in Sydney until late 2009, when I left the firm to found Salvos Legal and Salvos Legal Humanitarian. At Salvos Legal I headed up the Corporate & Commercial team, together with being the firm’s Managing Partner. I returned to Mills Oakley as a Partner in November 2017.

I also run a free legal clinic on behalf of, Everyday Justice. It runs out of the North Brisbane Salvos on the first Wednesday of each month.

I am a wife and a mother of two beautiful children.

I have lived on the northside my whole life and have attended NBC since its opening.

Every holiday you will find me camping with my family and friends. It is exciting to be part of this great church.
