Central Vic Salvos (CVS) Kids is a place for children to come together, have some fun, and grow spiritually. It includes events and activities around Central Vic (Maryborough, Bendigo & Castlemaine) and within the broader Salvation Army.
Kids Church
10am Sunday (during church)*
Kid's Church is an inclusive space for children aged 3-12 years to make friends, have fun and learn more about faith in a safe place.
We meet during our 10am Sunday Church service during school terms at Maryborough Salvos (27 Wills St). Each week includes games, crafts and activities based on stories found in the bible.
*On the first Sunday of each month we invite you to join us for Pancake Church - our all-age church service which includes a pancake brunch and a style of worship suitable for all ages.
mainly babies
Registration Required
Do you have a little one who isn’t yet crawling? We invite you to join us at mainly babies.
Along with other parents and their babies, you will gather for 20-25 minutes of music and rhyme focused on your connection with baby. This will be followed by something to eat/drink, a time for you to catch up with other parents of little ones, and a chance to build your tribe.
mainly babies is an 8-week program. A once-off cost of $55* is required to register which covers the cost of your own family resource bag which includes a maraca, bubbles, scarf, hand puppet, and book, along with a simple prop to make at home to use in the session.

mainly music
10am Thursday
mainly music is for parents/carers and children from 0-5 years. We invite you to join our sessions full of songs, rhymes, actions and movements designed to engage you and your child. Not only will your little one be delighted by the one-to-one attention you give, but you’ll love the way they respond and develop.
We meet at 10am every Thursday during school terms at Maryborough Salvos. We begin with morning tea and play, then we come together for our 30-minute music session. Please bring a healthy morning tea for you and your child, tea, coffee and hot chocolate is provided for the adults.
Kid's Club
4pm Thursday | $2
Kid's Club is an inclusive and welcoming space for primary school-aged children to make friends, have fun and learn more about faith in a safe place.
We meet at 4pm every Thursday during school terms at Maryborough Salvos (27 Wills St). Each week includes games, stories, songs, crafts and other activities.
Junior Soldiers
5:15pm Thursday (after Kid's Club)
Junior Soldiers is a discipleship program for children aged 7-14 years who want to learn more about God, and how to put their faith into action.
We meet at 5:15pm after Kid's Club every Thursday during school terms. Each week includes activities and discussions about prayer, the bible, service, holy living and worship!
