The Salvation Army is dedicated to providing support to survivors of violence and their children through a variety of emergency responses such as refuge accommodation, and long-term support.

Weddings, Funerals and Dedications

Salvation Army officers are available to provide care and support through the trauma of the death of a loved one or friend. Our officers can provide a meaningful ceremony and assistance with arrangements. We also are available to conduct your wedding ceremony and offer pre-marriage counselling to help couples plan for their life together. Child Dedications are a joyful event to thank God for your child.

Learn to cook good tucker on a low budget. Courses run at various times during the year. Please call for information about when it will be running next and to secure your free spot.

Doorways Emergency relief and Case work/Facilitation
Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays 9-2 by appointment
Doorways staff are able to assist with a variety of different services to support community members in times of need. Please call to arrange an assessment and chat to one of our friendly workers.

Community Lunch
Friday from 12-1pm during the school term
The Salvation Army Doorways program and the Stars Foundation welcome you to attend our free hot lunch every Friday from 12-1pm during the school term. All welcome.

Community Breakfast
Thursdays from 8am - 10am
Community members are welcome to attend the Salvation Army Hall on Thursdays from 8am - 10am for a drop in community breakfast with the Doorways team.
