Under the leadership of Majors Colin and Marilyn Medling, Captains Alan and Jan Meredith and Lieutenant Sandy Fernee, our first meetings were held at Springvale and Clayton. In 2002, we moved to Dingley Village where we have been ever since.
Our church is a welcoming space where you are invited to be yourself and find a place to belong. We meet each Sunday to worship God together in community and have a range of activities to encourage connection and friendship.

Your officers are Major Jennifer Cloke and Auxiliary-Lieutenant James Singer.
We are the expression of God’s family in the local sense. We believe in a good God whose goodness transforms your life and we invite you to join us.
Address: Unit 13,12–16 Garden Boulevard, Dingley Village
We have plenty of on-site parking as well as nearby street parking that is untimed on Sundays. Our building is wheelchair accessible.

Sunday worship, 10.30am
We gather for a time of prayer, praise and Bible teaching to worship and present the message of Jesus Christ.

Sunday and Wednesday, 9.30am
Prayer meetings help us connect with God and are a vital ingredient to the ongoing spiritual and holistic development of ourselves and the church.

First Sunday of the month, 4pm
This is not church as you know it! For all ages, this is a fresh expression of church; a celebration time of music, stories, creativity and prayer, followed by a meal together.

From time to time, we hold event days at Kingston City Salvos where families can gather together for celebration and connection.

During school terms, bring your children aged 0–5 years to Kingston City Salvos for a music-based playgroup. Afterwards, stay for a cup of tea and a chat.

Volunteering is a great way to demonstrate the love of Jesus and make a very real difference in our world. There are many opportunities to serve and support such as with your finances, talents, time and networks.
