About us

Part of the Pilbara community for over 40 years.

The Salvation Army Karratha is part of the international Salvation Army - a worldwide Protestant Christian Church.

Wherever there is hardship or injustice, Salvos will live, love and fight alongside others to transform Australia one life at a time with the love of Jesus.

Karratha Salvos is dedicated to sharing the love of Jesus by:

  • Caring for people in need, providing food, emergency relief, and support services.
  • Creating faith pathways for individuals and families seeking spiritual growth and connection.
  • Building healthy communities by fostering inclusion, belonging, and wellbeing.
  • Working for justice advocating for fairness and dignity for all.

We invite you to come and be welcomed in a place where faith, love & service intersect to make a meaningful impact on lives and our wider community.

A place where you are welcome

Karratha Salvation Army is situated on the ancestral lands of the Ngarluma people.

We value and include people of all cultures, languages, abilities, sexual orientations, gender identities, gender expressions and intersex status. We are committed to providing programs that are fully inclusive.
