The Salvation Army offers a range of support options to help with financial difficulties, depending on the nature of your needs

Emergency Relief (Bills, Food and Utilities)

To speak to a person from the Salvos Assistance Line, please call 02 8775 7988 between the hours of 9.00 and 4.00 Monday to Friday.

You will be assessed over the phone and then make collection at one of our many Salvos Connect points.

Financial Counselling

The Salvation Army's Moneycare is a free and confidential financial counselling service for people facing financial difficulties or wanting to avoid financial difficulties in the future.

No Interest Loans Scheme (NILS)

The No Interest Loans Scheme (NILS) is to provide loans to people on low incomes who need to purchase essential household and personal capital items.

A range of criteria must be met to access this scheme.
