Gunnedah Salvos are a Christian based church which provide various services to the local community. Expressions of service include the local church, Sunday School, Just Brass, Ladies Fellowship, Salvos Store, Bible studies, Community of Hope, emergency relief and more.
Wherever there is hardship or injustice Salvos will live, love and fight alongside others, transforming Australia one life at a time, with the love of Jesus.
We meet each Sunday morning to share a warm drink and to worship God together in community and have a range of activities to encourage connection and friendship. Whether you're looking for someone to do life with, or someone to believe in good for you during a tough time, Gunnedah Salvos are here for you.

Sunday worship 10am
We invite you to join us for morning tea and a chat at 10am followed by a time of prayer, praise and Bible teaching at 10:30am.
It’s a place to belong and discover what it means to live out your faith in everyday life.

Sunday, 9am (during school terms only)
Children (ages 4 to 16) enjoy games, songs, craft and stories as they learn about Jesus in a fun, caring and age-appropriate way. Helping kids understand God’s love and build strong values for life.

Thursday, 9am and 5pm
Want to explore more from the Bible? You are welcome to join us as we read the bible together and have conversations about how we apply these teachings to our lives.

Monday, 3.15–5pm (during school terms only)
Just Brass provides free brass music lessons to children, giving them the opportunity to discover their talents and grow in confidence.
Through music, children build self-esteem, develop leadership skills and learn the value of teamwork. The program has been shown to boost academic performance and help kids thrive both in and out of school.

Cost: $2 donation which includes morning tea
Women from all walks of life come together each week to share a hot drink and conversation in a friendly and supportive setting.

We’re honoured to share life’s most meaningful moments with you — from celebrating new beginnings to offering comfort and support in times of loss.
Our team can help you plan funerals and baby dedications with care, compassion and faith.
