Volunteer

Volunteers bring life to our values of integrity, compassion, respect, diversity and collaboration.

Get involved

It takes an army of volunteers to provide and enable practical care for Australians every year. We are always looking for individuals to bring fresh energy and ideas to a range of volunteer roles. Whatever your skillset, availability or areas of interest, you may surprise yourself with the different ways you can make a difference.
Emergency Services

Emergency Services

On average, we respond to an emergency event every day of the year. While we cannot predict when the next disaster will strike, we do know that we can make an impact in the lives of those in need with the valuable and dedicated support of our volunteers and supporters.

Drive for Life

Drive for Life

Drive for Life is a driver training and mentoring program that equips young people aged 16-25 who face barriers to education, training and employment to attain their driver’s licence.

We have a wide range of volunteer opportunities.

Child safety

The Salvation Army is a child safe organisation. All child-facing roles require the successful completion of a Working with Children Check. Other roles may require a police check.

Equal opportunity employer

The Salvation Army Australia is also an equal opportunity employer who provides an inclusive work environment and embraces the diverse talent of its people.
