There are some great resources available to support you and your people through the generous life journey. Please take a moment to have a look at these. More information can be obtained from your Generous Culture Coach. 

Books

Here is a list of some excellent books that are out there.

  • THE BIBLE is the place to start. There are over 2000 verses which refer to generosity, giving, possessions and stewardship and more than half of Jesus' Parables teach us about these topics. Seek God's wisdom in your finances. It's the best place to start.

These are ideal for a 4 or 6 week Bible Study/Home Church. Comes with a CD and DVD and suggested questions to consider.  

Also check out his web site: http://kluth.org/intl.htm  Brian provides great video clips, powerpoint slides, cartoons and ideas for introducing and cultivating a culture of generosity for your corps.  They are free to use so this is a must to have a look at and use. 

These books and audio along with video is available through apps for both iphone and android.  They are free.

“The Scriptural Principles of Giving” are presented on DVD by Major Dr Alan Harley. 

They also come with a devotional book and suggested Bible Study questions. This is solid Biblical teaching in 6 sessions.  (These studies can be downloaded from our Bible Studies tab)

Gordon McDonald has a series which goes for 4 weeks entitled “Generosity: moving toward a life that is truly life”.
