Days and times vary from group to group

We have a variety of small groups that meet weekly or fortnightly for an exciting time of exploring the Bible. They share in friendship and discuss matters of mutual importance.

We’d love to help you find a group that suits you and your schedule.

55+ activity group

We invite anyone who identifies as 55+ to participate in our Social, Learning and Service (SLS) activities. These are designed to enrich our community by providing opportunities for those who identify with 55+ (no one will ask your age) to participate and contribute.

Social opportunities include:

  • Excursions and outings — Enjoy the company of other people over 55 while you visit places of interest throughout Perth and the surrounding regions.
  • Gold class movies — We book out a cinema (or two) at a group booking rate. Not just new movies but also from their back catalogue.
  • Lunches at Tafe restaurants and cafes, quiz mornings, Christmas in July, musical concerts.

Learning opportunities include:

  • Throughout the year we arrange tours of museums and other places of interest, speakers from different services and interest groups.
  • Cyber security workshop — Once a year we have an IT guru come and show us how to stay safe online, spot scams and protect your personal info. They talk about current trends and scams, share practical tips, offer demonstrations and answer your questions. No tech experience needed — just curiosity and a willingness to learn.

Service opportunities include:

  • Community support — Volunteer your skills and experience to help others or to support worthwhile causes in your community.
  • Walk’n and talk’n — For those who like some gentle exercise or simply chatting to others while experiencing various delightful locations throughout Perth and surrounding areas (always includes coffee and food opportunities).
