Chloe sitting on a bed

…you help them find a way back in.

Right now, across Australia, too many people are being pushed out of society and into hardship and homelessness. People just like Chloe who need your help.

Over the next 24 hours - and for every day following – it’s likely the Salvos will provide over 5,000 sessions of care with people needing compassion and practical help to recover.

It’s only with your thoughtful Red Shield Appeal gift today, that we can give people the urgent care they need.

Please make your generous donation now to help leave no one in need.

Your gift now, will help someone like Chloe who was pushed out, bit-by-bit from the time she was a child. Her father abandoned her, and she was neglected by her mother. When she left home to find the love she was missing, she only found more trauma and pain from an abusive partner.

“My boyfriend got really violent. He locked me in a room and held me hostage for two days, storming around the house with a gun.”

Chloe had to leave and found herself barely living on the fringes of society. Hitchhiking from town to town. Sleeping in all-nighter toilets just to find somewhere safe.

First abandoned, then abused. Now Chloe was alone.

This is why your support is so urgently needed today.

When someone finds themselves pushed out of life, through abuse and loneliness, you can help them find a way back in, to a life of safety, stability, and hope.

Please support the 2022 Red Shield Appeal today.
