In these vital weeks leading up to Christmas, too many Australian families are at risk of homelessness as they struggle alone through the housing crisis, financial hardship, and domestic violence.
Josie and her daughter, Sienna, are the kind of people we urgently need to help, but we can only do that with your support today.
After being violently kicked out of home by her abusive partner, Josie was forced to live in her car.
What broke Josie’s heart was sending her daughter Sienna away to live with a relative.
"Sienna really wanted to be with me, but I only have a very small car, the two of us couldn't sleep in it. I looked for private rentals, but it was really hard."– Josie
Thanks to wonderful supporters like you, The Salvation Army were able to reunite Josie and Sienna in time for Christmas. Through safe emergency accommodation and essentials to get set up, they were able to enjoy a Christmas together - and find hope for the future.
No matter how much you give today, your kindness will bring hope and joy to someone or a family struggling alone this Christmas.
