We believe in good for you

If you are experiencing financial hardship or are facing a crisis, contact us to find out how we can support you. Depending on your situation, and what we have available, we may be able to provide you with vouchers for food, fuel or electricity. We can also help with referrals to other support services such as addiction rehabilitation centres.

Financial assistance

For all-year financial support, call us and a team member will have a compassionate conversation with you to understand your needs and let you know what help is available.

When you phone us, you may be told you're eligible for a voucher and directed to visit us for collection on Monday, Wednesday or Friday, 9.30am–1pm.

The Salvation Army Clarence City Doorways program may be able to help you with a food parcel or other forms of material aid.

We also have a Doorways case worker who may be able to provide further assistance depending on availability and need.

Financial counselling

The Salvation Army’s free financial counselling service, Moneycare, is here to help you feel in control of your finances. We can work with you to manage your debt, develop new strategies or you may like to explore our free eBook. We can also point you in the right direction for a No Interest Loan.
