Start or continue your faith journey with us

From 1885, we have been loving and serving in the heart of Brisbane City.

We believe in The Great Commandment

We are regular people from all walks of life who have a real and relevant faith. Our Sunday worship is a celebration of God and an experience of His love for us. The teaching is Bible-based and relevant to life today.

Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.

This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbour as yourself.
Matthew
22:37-39

Sunday worship

Sunday, 10am

Each week, we gather for a vibrant worship experience for the whole family, celebrating God through Scripture, music and Bible-based teaching.

You are welcome to come earlier at 9.30am to connect with us over a cup of coffee.

Kids’ Church

Sunday during service, 10.20am (during school term)

Children start with the wider congregation and then are invited to head out for Kids’ Church for stories, crafts, games and age-appropriate lessons.

Major Bronwyn Barkmeyer

My interests include art, literature — reading and writing , travel, and history. My passion for antiques is a celebration of stories untold, mysteries unveiled, and legacies preserved. Each piece I collect, ignites my imagination for the narrative within. Yet, I find my truest self in my faith. A Christ follower, loves to share God’s love, inspiring others to embrace their divine potential and serve alongside them in the journey of faith.

My deepest prayer is that my life will point people beyond myself to God, that people would see Jesus in me.

Major Ashley Barkmeyer

My passion is for family, adventure, and making a difference. I also enjoy the simple things such as geeking out over Star Wars, driving (and fixing) my trusty Mini — "Sir Reginald" who is like our fifth child — and getting creative with 3D printing.

While working in the corporate technology sector for many years, I had a calling to serve God in full time ministry and so became an officer. In this ministry, I've found that true calling — connecting with people, listening to their stories, and helping them discover their potential in God. It's the hope of Jesus that fuels my passion for making a positive impact in the lives of others, bringing light to their darkest moments.
