Depending on your situation, and what we have available, we may be able to provide you with vouchers for food, fuel or electricity. We can also help with referrals to other support services such as addiction rehabilitation centres.
Emergency financial assistance

A team member will have a compassionate conversation with you to understand all your needs and let you know what help is available.
When you phone us, you may be told you're eligible for a voucher and directed to visit us for collection at our Connect Site in Katoomba Salvos Stores on Tuesdays and Thursdays 10-12pm.

A place where community members can pick up their pre-allocated vouchers, or drop in to have a chat about what help is available to you when in crisis or difficult times. Information on other local assistance is also available.

The Salvation Army’s free financial counselling service, Moneycare, is here to help you feel in control of your finances. We can work with you to manage your debt, develop new strategies or you may like to explore our free eBook. We can also point you in the right direction for a No Interest Loan.
