Giving comes in many forms

Volunteers bring life to our values of integrity, compassion, respect, diversity and collaboration.

Whatever your skillset, availability or areas of interest, you may surprise yourself with the different ways you can demonstrate care for others in our local community and support those who are struggling.

Volunteering is also an invitation to put your faith into action in an area of ministry you feel God is calling you into or for which you have a passion.

Those who give up their time so freely are some of the greatest contributors and advocates of The Salvation Army’s mission and vision. Thank you for considering how you can get involved at Auburn Salvos. 

Volunteer opportunities include:

• Assist with packing and distributing toys and hamper bags at Christmas time
• Help with collections at the annual Sydney Royal Easter Show
• Serve in our Welcome Cafe Volunteer in our Food Market
• Greet visitors as they enter our building or answer phones to assist with enquiries
• Support our English classes
