Contact us if you are experiencing financial hardship or are facing a crisis. Depending on your situation, and what we have available, we may be able to provide you with vouchers for food, fuel or electricity.
 
We can also help with referrals to other support services such as addiction rehabilitation centres.

A team member will have a compassionate conversation with you to understand your needs and let you know what help is available.

Salvos Home Care ACT

Salvos Home Care ACT offers a range of services to support you living independently in your own home and continue to be a part of your community.

The following areas are serviced: North Canberra, South Canberra, Woden Valley, Belconnen, Weston Creek, Tuggeranong, Gungahlin, Molonglo Valley and Queanbeyan.

Alcohol and other drug services

Alcohol and other drug services

Canberra AOD services offer a range of residential and community-based treatment options, including a residential rehabilitation program in Fyshwick, transitional housing and a day program in Braddon. There are also 12-week group programs available.

Drive for Life

Drive for Life

The Drive for Life program primarily supports young people aged between 16-25 years and is designed to meet the needs of young people who may find it difficult to achieve their drivers licence.
