Our Doorways Team are passionate about encouraging you and walking alongside you, to help navigate you through difficult times. We’re here for you as much or as little as you want or need.

We are availabe to have those necessary conversations - what your needs are and are willing to point you in the right direction. Ask us about our community services, social activities or spiritual support we offer. Our support could include referrals to other support services — both in The Salvation Army and externally. 

The Salvation Army’s free financial counselling service, Moneycare, is here to help you feel in control of your finances. We can work with you to manage your debt, develop new strategies or you may like to explore our free eBook. We can also point you in the right direction for a No Interest Loan.  

If you’re going through a difficult time and need support with food or essential expenses, please give us a call on 02 8775 7988. Our Emergency Relief Assessment team is here to assist and navigate you through what help and support are available. 

Following your assessment, you can collect your voucher from Umina Beach Salvos on Mondays between 10am and 12pm.
