We believe in good for you
Depending on your situation, and what we have available, we may be able to provide you with vouchers for food, fuel or electricity. We can also help with referrals to other support services such as addiction rehabilitation centres.
Emergency relief
For all-year financial support, call us and a team member will have a compassionate conversation with you to understand your needs and let you know what help is available.
When you phone us, you may be told you're eligible for a voucher and directed to visit us, our collection site is located at the rear of our store at 67 Pulteney Street, Taree. We’re open for collection on a Thursday between 9am and 12pm.
Financial counselling
The Salvation Army’s free financial counselling service, Moneycare, is here to help you feel in control of your finances. We can work with you to manage your debt, develop new strategies or you may like to explore our free eBook. We can also point you in the right direction for a No Interest Loan.

Christmas support
Available from the first week of November.
This time of joy and celebration can be stressful and isolating if finances are tight. We may be able to support you with food, toys, gifts, vouchers and more.
Hope Café
Join us for a free community meal where everyone is welcome for either a hot plate, good company, or a safe space to connect, we’re here for you.
