We all face challenges at times, and it can make a big difference to know you’re not alone. At Sydney City Salvos, we’re here to listen, walk alongside you, and help you find the support you need — whether it’s a one-off concern or something more ongoing.
Our caring team, based at our Surry Hills and Waterloo centres, can help with everyday needs and guide you through more complex situations. If you need longer-term support, our Salvation Army Doorways team member is available by appointment on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
We can offer support with:
- Guidance in navigating housing options
- Centrelink support
- Getting identification documents
- Emergency clothing vouchers
- Energy Accounts Payment Assistance (EAPA)
- Advocacy with government and non-government services
- Referrals and connections to specialist services
