Venue Hire at 140 Elizabeth Street

Our site located at 140 Elizabeth Street (formly known as Sydney Congress Hall) offers a range of versatile spaces for conferences, training sessions, concerts, and other events.

 

Our Facilities:

  • Conference Rooms – Various sizes and seating capacities from 15 to 200 people, with customizable seating arrangements, including classroom, U-shape, theater, and boardroom styles. Movable doors allow for increased capacity as needed.
  • Auditorium – Seats up to 700 people and features professional audio, lighting, and data projection equipment.
  • Technology & Equipment – Each room is equipped with a data projector and screen. Additional equipment such as whiteboards, microphones, PA systems, and other AV resources are available upon request.

 

Catering:

While we do not offer on-site catering, you are welcome to arrange your own and have it delivered for convenience.

Facility Hire Unavailable from 2026

Due to the redevelopment of 140 Elizabeth Street, we will not be accepting facility hire bookings from 2026 onwards. Our programs will be temporarily relocated to other Salvation Army sites during this period.
