Southern WA Salvos is here to lend you a helping hand.

From time to time, people find themselves in times of need, unable to manage and cope with what life throws at them.  At such times, we are able to provide limited assistance. Each corps offers different services. Learn how your nearest Salvos can help you.

Statewide support

Financial relief

For all-year financial support, call 08 6210 3288.

A team member will have a compassionate conversation with you to understand your needs and let you know what help is available in your local area.

When you phone us, you may be told you're eligible for a voucher and directed to visit one of our corps locations below for collection.

Financial counselling 

The Salvation Army’s free financial counselling service, Moneycare, is here to help you feel in control of your finances. We can work with you to manage your debt, develop new strategies or you may like to explore our free eBook. We can also point you in the right direction for a No Interest Loan.

Seeking help for homelessness

Southwest Homelessness Services 

If you are experiencing or at risk of homelessness, we can support you.

Southwest Homeless Services include accommodation, case management services, advocacy, limited financial assistance, counselling and meals, as well as connection and referral to other specialist services.

This service operates out of Bunbury Salvos so please call us to learn more.

We invite you to drop in for some support and a chat.

We can help you stretch your food budget with our free community pantry.

Court support

The prospect of court or prison can be incredibly daunting and confusing.

Our chaplains are available to talk you through the process and direct you to other helpful services so you can be best prepared for what’s to come.

For people in need of a hot shower or somewhere to clean and wash their clothing, our facilities are open to you during the above times.

For access outside of those times, please call us to make an appointment.

The Lighthouse Drop-in Centre

When the centre is open, you can come in to collect a voucher. You are welcome to simply drop in for good company too; a cup of tea, connect with Narrogin Salvos and make new friends.
