The vision

We want children to engage with the bible, God (experience) and each other as they grow. Want them to know the bigness, fullness and depth of Christ and his desire that all children (and adults) might know him!

This term we are continuing to intentionally develop a great Kids Church culture of love, respect, helpfulness, forgiveness, fun and Jesus at the centre! We don’t always know what home is like for children, so we aim to be kind but fair to all involved.

Our theme

Our theme for 2026 is “GOD’S BIG STORY.”

Every part of the Bible – each event, book, character, commands, prophecy and column – must be understood in the context of one storyline.  God’s Big Story has never changed, we learn who God is and His plan for us to be a part of it. Kids love heroes.

And when all is said and done, God — through His Son, Jesus — is the ultimate hero! In the big story, good and evil war with each other, evil seems to overtake the world, but then Jesus shows up and conquers sin and death, and those of us who recognise Him as Lord and Saviour are saved. Ultimately, He will make everything right.
