Get help

Call us Monday to Friday, 9am–4pm if you're facing a crisis.

Building towards tomorrow

We’re committed to journeying with you so you can experience hope for the future. After meeting your immediate needs, our Doorways caseworkers support you with achieving your other goals. This may include helping you talk to your utility providers about outstanding bills, connecting you with employment agencies or introducing you to other service providers.

We understand that without a safe place to stay, enough food for your family, or other necessities such as clothing for the kids, tomorrow can feel a long way off.  Our Salvation Army emergency relief services (called Doorways) help relieve the stresses you’re facing today.

If you find yourself in a tough spot, contact us and find out how we can support you.

Community support

We understand life can be challenging and we don't want you to walk through your challenges alone. We believe in good for your life and offer a range of services at The Salvation Army Perth Fortress to help you to believe in good for yourself too.

Our Pastoral Care Team makes visits to people in need, sends cards and offers prayer support.

If you or a loved one would like a member of the Pastoral Care Team to pray for you or make contact, please let us know.

Positive Lifestyle Program

The Salvation Army’s Positive Lifestyle Program aims to help you overcome personal difficulties by increasing your self-awareness and self-confidence.

The Positive Lifestyle Program is non-judgemental, non-invasive and can take place one-on-one or in a group setting.

The eight-week course looks to address discontentment, fear, anger and fatigue, which are some of the anti-social and personally harmful consequences you might be experiencing with relationships and communication.

Across the eight sessions, you will explore:

  • Self-awareness
  • Anger
  • Depression
  • Stress
  • Loneliness
  • Grief and loss
  • Problem-solving
  • Assertiveness
  • Self-esteem
  • Goal setting

Contact us for more information or to book in for an upcoming session: Monday to Friday, 8.30am–3.30pm.
