OASIS 8 WEEK LIFE SKILLS COURSE

Makeup and Personal Styling will focus on the skills required to understand colour correction and to assist in determining colour choice and design relating to personal grooming. The course will also cover professional interviewing skills and how to provide salon services such as answering telephones and taking enquiries. Participants will be provided with a makeup kit, brush kit and shirt.

This course will run for 8 weeks, 1 day per week, on Fridays from 9.30am to 2.30pm.

The Oasis Centre Wyong has partnered with Central Coast Community College who is an Adult and Community Education (ACE) provider and is supported by the NSW Department of Industry. As an ACE Provider, the College is able to provide a vast range of quality education to disadvantaged students and key equity groups through a funded program.

The accredited modules included in the course are:
• SHBBMUP002 Design and apply makeup
• SHBXCCS002 Provide salon services to clients
• SHBBMUP004 Design and apply remedial camouflage makeup
